Privacy Policy — Null Expanse

Effective 25 October 2026. Space Junk Industries ("we", "us") publishes Null Expanse ("the game") for Android.

Summary

The current test builds of Null Expanse do not ask you to create an account and do not collect personal information. We do not show ads and do not use advertising or analytics SDKs. When online play is enabled, the game will need an account (an email address and a password) and will store your gameplay data on our server so that your pilot, ships and items persist. We never sell your data.

What we collect

Offline test builds (now): nothing is sent by the game. Your settings are stored only on your device.

Online play (when available):

Crash and diagnostic data

If your device's Google Play settings allow it, Google may share crash reports and basic diagnostics (device model, Android version, the error) with us through Google Play Console. We use them only to fix problems. This is governed by Google's privacy policy.

How we use data

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Sharing

Other players can see your pilot name, ship, corporation and in-game actions — that is the point of a shared world. We share data with service providers only as needed to run the game (for example our hosting provider), and with authorities when the law requires it.

Retention and deletion

Account and gameplay data are kept while your account exists. You can request deletion of your account at any time from inside the game (once accounts exist) or by emailing us; we delete personal data within 30 days, keeping only anonymised records needed for game integrity (for example that an item was created or destroyed). Chat reports are kept for up to 30 days and operational logs for up to 90 days.

Children

Null Expanse is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Connections to our server are encrypted (TLS). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Session tokens are stored in your device's secure storage where available.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

We will update this page when the game's data practices change (for example when online accounts launch) and update the effective date above.
